Congratulations to Jessica Rousey on her placement in NC All-State Band. Way to go!!

Starting in April, I will be offering lessons in my home studio in the Southpark area on Friday afternoons/early evenings. Please contact me if you would like to schedule flute or saxophone lessons.

Congratulations to my students Jessica Rousey (9th grade, Providence HS), Sarah Pannenberg (10th grade Ardrey Kell HS), and Reid Herrera (6th grade, Cannon School)for their placement in All-District Band! Also congratulations to Linda Fang (9th grade, Ardrey Kell HS) for being named 1st alternate!

I'll now be teaching at Music and Arts at the Arboretum on Mondays, as well as my other days, Tuesday through Thursday. This should be great for accommodating the new beginner students for the fall!

Congratulations to Leigh Ann Wilson, Emily Boyd, Katharina Traynor, Cathy Ostmann, Tiffany Sullivan, and Julie Sullivan for your participation in yesterday's recital at Music and Arts. You all played BEAUTIFULLY, and I am very proud to call you my students. Well done!

Harpist Kirsten Carrell and I recorded some new music samples, which are now posted. We had a great time recording with Chris Garges at the Old House Studio in Gastonia. Kirsten is an awesome harpist, and we're very happy with the results, so please go to the "Music" page and enjoy!

Upcoming student recitals: Music and Arts Arboretum students will have an opportunity to perform at the store on 26. University Place students can perform there on May 3. Home students, don't worry, I'm planning something for the summer!
